International Research Group on Wood Protection, Americas Regional Meeting, Playa Flamingo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

This meeting provides an opportunity for researchers and others in the field of wood protection to get together to explore common interests relating to research and opportunities across the Americas in the field of wood protection.

The location has been chosen to provide a bridge between the various countries of the Americas in our field. The meeting location hotel is located at beautiful Playa Blanca in Guanacaste on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast. The hotel is ideally configured for technical presentations and has ideal facilities for informal discussions outside of the meeting rooms.

The meeting is being sponsored by the IRG parent organization, RIPMA, and various industrial organizations. Each sponsor's support is provided through intellectual, in-kind, monetary or some combination of suppor t.
